This privacy policy explains how Luqverse ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use Luqora, our AI receptionist and operations dashboard for service businesses.

Who we are

Luqverse operates Luqora, a WhatsApp-first AI receptionist and operations dashboard that helps service businesses manage customer enquiries, bookings, payments, and growth insights. Luqora is a product of Luqverse — it is not a separate legal entity.

Information we collect

  • Business operator account: name, email, password (hashed), role
  • Business profile: business name, services, working hours, timezone, currency, country/market
  • Customer data: name, phone number, and message content when provided through WhatsApp or the dashboard
  • Booking data: service, date/time, status, staff assignment
  • Payment metadata: payment link status, amount, currency, provider reference — we do not store full card details
  • WhatsApp message data: inbound and outbound messages, delivery status, timestamps
  • OTP/phone verification data: phone number (for ownership verification only), verification status, country code — OTP codes are not stored by Luqora
  • Usage and log data: IP address (hashed), browser type, access times, error logs for security and debugging
  • Waitlist form data: name, business name, email, phone, country, business type, market, source, UTM tracking fields
  • Email notification data: internal notifications sent to Luqverse staff about waitlist leads
  • Cookie/device data: essential session cookies; analytics cookies only with consent

  • Send booking confirmations, reminders, and payment follow-ups
  • Verify phone number ownership via OTP (for WhatsApp connection setup)
  • Provide the operations dashboard and analytics
  • Send internal notifications about waitlist leads to Luqverse staff

Payments

Luqora handles two types of payment:

  • Luqora subscription payments: paid to Luqverse for use of the Luqora platform
  • Service payments (customer → business): paid directly from the customer to the business. Luqverse/Luqora does not collect, settle, escrow, refund, or process service payments. Businesses are solely responsible for their customer payment collection.

WhatsApp and messaging providers

Customer messages may be processed through WhatsApp and our messaging provider (such as Twilio or Meta WhatsApp Business Platform). Messages are used to provide customer support, booking, reminder, and business operations services.

We do not sell customer message data. We do not use WhatsApp for spam or cold outreach. Customers can opt out or contact us for data requests.

Luqora uses WhatsApp messaging only for business communication such as customer enquiries, bookings, confirmations, reminders, payment follow-ups, and support. We do not support spam, cold outreach, scraping, or unauthorized bulk messaging.

AI/LLM processing

Luqora uses rule-based logic first. AI/LLM may help interpret unclear messages. AI does not independently confirm bookings or payments without backend validation. Sensitive cases may be handed to a human operator. Do not include secrets, medical emergency details, or highly sensitive personal information in messages.

Legal bases (UK GDPR)

  • Contract: processing necessary to provide the service you signed up for
  • Legitimate interests: security, fraud prevention, product improvement
  • Consent: where required (e.g. marketing cookies, waitlist)
  • Legal obligation: tax, accounting, regulatory requirements

Data sharing

We may share data with categories of service providers:

  • Cloud hosting providers
  • Messaging providers (Twilio, Meta WhatsApp Business Platform)
  • Payment providers (Razorpay, Stripe) — for subscription billing only
  • Email providers (Resend) — for internal notifications
  • AI providers (if AI features are enabled)
  • Analytics/monitoring tools (only with consent for non-essential)

We do not sell personal data.

International transfers

Data may be processed outside the UK/EEA by our service providers. We consider appropriate safeguards where required.

Data retention

Data is kept only as long as needed for service, legal, security, and operational purposes:

  • Business accounts and booking data: retained while the account is active, deleted upon request (subject to legal retention)
  • WhatsApp messages: retained for service delivery and dispute resolution
  • Waitlist submissions: retained until the business is onboarded or requests removal
  • Logs and security data: retained for up to 90 days for debugging and fraud prevention

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, data portability, withdraw consent, and complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).

Security

We use encryption (TLS), access controls, audit logs, hashed sensitive data (passwords, IP addresses), and regular backups. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

Children

Luqora is not intended for use by children under 16.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated through the dashboard or email.
